It was always going to be a natural progression for Dastek Power to involve the Company in the rebuilding and manufacturing of intercoolers for the heavy duty trucking industry.

It is always our intention to create a cost effective package for the end user.

Cost savings on new manufactured coolers are huge and in some cases as much as 30% over a OEM product. As always it would always be advantages to rebuild or refurbish simply because this way you can benefit from savings as much as 60% in some cases.

Generally a refurbished or rebuilt cooler is half the price of a new one.

Over the last decade we have manufactured around ten thousand intercoolers for LCV’s, LDV’s, SUV’s etc.

Cooling the air that a engine breathes is the right thing to do and then ensuring that vehicles already fitted with intercoolers can rely on a effective good condition cooling system.

It was to this end that we started refurbishing and rebuilding intercoolers for Volvo trucks. Today we manufacture refurbish and rebuild intercoolers for amongst others Mercedes, Volvo, Mann, Scania International, ERF Peterbuilt, Freightliner and DAF Trucks.

The coolers under go very stringent quality control, be it a newly manufactured cooler or a rebuilt reconditioned unit. We afford a great deal of attention to small detail to enable easy DIY fitment.

Every cooler is pressure tested before leaving the factory to ensure perfect effective engine cooling.
